Are you someone who believes in the convenience of cooking a pasta dish when you are in a hurry? When I don’t have time to cook or if there are not many ingredients available, pasta is the first choice. When someone comes over for dinner and you do not know what they like then pasta is the safest bet … because I can’t think of anyone who does not like this food.
Today’s recipe takes less than half an hour, can swap ingredients (such as changing the shrimp for chicken) and is not difficult. I’ll explain how to prepare spaghetti with cilantro pesto and shrimp.
INGREDIENTS:
Spaghetti
Cilantro (half a bunch)
Cream Cheese (1 stick or 8 Oz.)
½ cup of milk
1 clove of garlic
1 chicken bouillon cube
Shrimp (whichever you prefer)
Parmesan Cheese
PREPARATION:
Cook pasta according to package directions. Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain the water and set aside.
In a blender, mix the cream cheese, cilantro, chicken bouillon, garlic and milk.
Add the sauce to the pasta and then warm over the stovetop.
Prepare the shrimp in a skillet or griddle with a little butter, garlic and salt.
Serve the pasta, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and top with shrimp.
To prepare this recipe as well as many others I recommend using La Romanella products because they are high quality, have great prices, and I even have the opportunity to win prizes for my purchase. The most current opportunity is to win a weekend trip for two at one of the most luxurious Italian-style resorts in Las Vegas and eight SmartCash cards with a value of $50 each.
You only need to go to La Romanella’s website, enter the code that comes on your purchase receipt and you could be one of the lucky winners. Also, you can vote for the best recipe while I cross my fingers that mine may win. Can I count on your vote? Thank you!!
