Patacón Burger (Green Plantain Burger)
Porciones: 4-6
  • 2 plantains
  • Frying oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground beef burgers
  • Slices of cheese
  • ½ green tomato sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of mayo
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce
  • Drops of lemon juice
  1. Peel the plantains and cut them into chunks
  2. Pan fry them until soft
  3. Once soft, remove them from the pan and press down on them until you get the desired shape and size.
  4. Fry them again until golden brown.
  5. Remove them from the pan, drain them on absorbent paper and add some salt. Save them.
  6. Brown the burgers on a grill until cooked to taste.
  7. Cover each serving with a slice of cheese.
  8. Prepare the pink sauce with the mayo, tomato sauce, and lemon drops to taste.
  9. To put the burgers together, use a patacon as a base.
  10. Continue by placing the meat, the cheese, the slice of tomato and the pink sauce on them.
  11. Finish the burger with another patacon.
