Banana Bread with Guava Paste

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 guava paste cut in pieces
  • ½ cup of shredded cheese (fresco or mozzarella)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  1. Heat oven to 400°F.
  2. Smash the bananas until they end up like a purée.
  3. Add the sugar and little by little add the other ingredients, leaving the flour for last.
  4. If the mix becomes a bit dry, try adding some milk.
  5. Grease a baking pan and add the mix.
  6. Bake for approximately 12 minutes or insert a toothpick or knife tip until it comes out clean.
  7. This cake can be consumed warm or at room temperature, and accompanied with a cup of tea or coffee, or a glass of milk.
